Principal Data Solutions Analyst - Military Veterans

Pay Philosophy

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

• Under minimal direction, prototype/develop data solutions of high complexity to meet the needs of the organization and business customers.
• Design proof-of-concept solutions utilizing a comprehensive understanding of multiple coding languages to meet technical and business requirements, with an ability to perform iterative solution testing to ensure specifications are met.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor to lower-level associates.
• Design and develop data solutions that enables effective self-service data consumption and can describe their value to the customer.
• Work with stakeholders in defining metrics that are impactful to the business.
• Prioritizes efforts based on customer value.
• Maintain proof-of-concepts and prototype data solutions, and handle any assessment of their viability and scalability, with own team or in partnership with IT.
• Work with IT, assist in building robust systems focusing on long-term and ongoing maintenance and support.
• Ensure data solutions include deliverables required to achieve high quality data.
• Works with IT to help scale prototypes.
• Travel required up to 10%.
• Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Data Solutions Analyst-related occupation.
