Team / Division Overview

The Investment Support Team is a dedicated team that covers Fixed Income for the Credit, Municipal, Multi Asset, Solutions, Structured Finance, Rates and Liquidity Portfolio Management desks. The team produces portfolio holdings, transaction reports, transfers cash, checks cash balances, requests loans, Same day cash settlement (Capstock), assists in performance reporting, and works on any Ad-Hoc inquiries from our PM's, RM's and trading desks.

Role Details

As a/an Operations Analyst, you will (be):

  • Support of the Liquidity Management Desk that trades primarily in US securities Treasuries and Agencies also including Floating Rate Notes, Commercial Paper, Forward Rate Agreements, Medium Term Notes, Repurchase Agreements and Money Market Mutual Funds.
  • Main focus of support will be in the Money Market Mutual Funds Space
  • Business Reporting.
  • Time sensitive manual processes.
  • Ad-Hoc requests and Issue resolution.
  • Monitoring Aladdin Dashboard and DST Transfer Agent System.
  • Projects and Initiatives.
  • Main point of contact for portfolio managers/ traders and other business line contacts for all portfolio inquiries including (but not limited to) daily cash balance and cash flow information, holdings, analytics, transactions, and allocations.
  • Uploading daily capstock (Purchases and Redemptions), daily closing of funds and multiple updates to traders on balances in portfolios.
  • Running of multiple daily reports.
  • Troubleshooting for the business - items such as overdraft research, erroneous data such as transaction prices, transaction inquiries, routing or executing.
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to requests from clients, Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, custodians, Front Office and Operations staff and managers.
  • Ad-Hoc project work including system migrations, account transitions or restructures, system enhancements/testing, etc.


We are looking for:

  • 0-2 years' experience within Asset Management preferred or in a Broker/Dealer related environment, including some knowledge of Money Market Mutual Funds.
  • Knowledge in asset management accounting preferred and core operations processing
  • Good analytical skills required.
  • Strong team skills, with the ability to work productively with others.
  • Excellent customer servicing skills including attention to detail and multitasking are required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills - Microsoft Office, Accounting Platforms, knowledge of Bloomberg and Aladdin (A Blackrock) system platform a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $45,000 to $60,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
