The Organizational Development and Effectiveness Manager – Process and Measurement will play a strategic role in enhancing organizational performance, employee engagement, and culture. This role requires expertise in HR, industrial-organizational psychology, predictive analytics, and process improvement, with a focus on measuring and maximizing return on investment (ROI) for organizational initiatives. The manager will facilitate process mapping and design sessions (both current state and future state), utilizing tools such as Visio, Lucid, or similar software to create detailed process maps. Leveraging methodologies such as Six Sigma or Agile, the manager will identify opportunities for improvement, design surveys, lead research on organizational behavior, and drive culture change efforts across the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Insights

Collaborates with the OE team to develop and implement strategies to optimize workforce performance, organizational culture, and employee engagement.

Works with OE Director to align organizational development initiatives with company-wide strategic goals and growth objectives.

Provides thought leadership on organizational effectiveness practices, offering insights based on predictive analytics, HR trends, and data-driven recommendations.
Predictive Analytics & Statistical Modeling
-
Oversees the creation of predictive models to forecast key performance indicators related to workforce planning, engagement, and retention.

Applies advanced statistical methods to analyze workforce data, generating actionable insights to inform HR and organizational strategies.

Guides the team in efforts to measure the ROI of organizational development initiatives, reporting on metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Process Mapping & Design
-
Facilitates process mapping and design sessions to create Current State and Future State process maps that align with customer needs and organizational goals.

Identifies inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement during process mapping sessions.

Creates detailed and visually effective process maps using software such as Visio, Lucid, or similar tools to support business improvement initiatives.
Process Improvement & Methodology (Six Sigma or Agile Process Improvement)

Champions process improvement projects across departments, utilizing Six Sigma or Agile process improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency.

Conducts root cause analysis to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reducing waste and improving quality in key business processes.

Establishes a performance measurement framework for continuous improvement, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustainable impact.

Partners cross divisionally to influence and drive process improvements where appropriate on processes that are governed at the Enterprise level.
Research & Survey Design

Works with OE team on the design, administration, and analysis of employee engagement, culture, and satisfaction surveys, translating findings into strategic recommendations.

Uses research methods (e.g., surveys, focus groups, experimental designs) to assess organizational behavior and monitor employee engagement trends.

Develops and executes initiatives based on research findings to enhance workplace culture, employee well-being, and overall organizational performance.
Organizational Behavior & Culture Change
-
Supports culture change initiatives to guide diversity, inclusivity, and alignment with organizational values and goals.

Provides expertise on organizational behavior, employee motivation, and engagement, identifying and addressing gaps to improve overall workforce morale.

Partners with HR to develop strategies that foster a positive, supportive, and high-performing organizational culture.
Research & Collaboration

Stays current on latest industry research and communicates findings to team and leadership via, presentations, executive summaries, white papers, etc.

Partners closely with HR, Learning & Development, and other stakeholders to drive initiatives that support strategic talent and organizational objectives.

Communicates findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leaders, providing a clear data-driven rationale for organizational changes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
-
BA/BS degree in related discipline (Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organization Effectiveness, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Data Science) with 6 years of experience in a related field (Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Process Improvement, or Data Science for HR); The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

Strong experience facilitating process mapping and design sessions (Current State and Future State) and implementing improvements based on findings.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to tell a story using data to gain buy in from the executive level and support from all levels.

Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and collect relevant data using trusted research methods and techniques.
-
Fluency in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucid, or similar software.
-
Experience in analyzing and interpreting Qualitative and Quantitative data using statistical software (e.g., IBM SPSS, SAS, R, Python, Excel, Tableau, and/or Power bi, etc.)

Certification in BPM

Certification in HR/People Analytics and/or ROI
Preferred

Strong understanding of organizational culture dynamics and their impact on performance and effectiveness.

Deep knowledge in the measurement, interpretation and consultation of employee engagement and organizational behavior.

Proven record of strong collaboration with several stakeholders, ability to work in a matrix environment, partner, and influence others at all levels of the organization to ensure mutual goals are achieved.

Six Sigma certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Primarily close vision for focused computer work, with the ability to read documents. Sitting for long durations with the ability to stand up and move around periodically. Fine motor skills for using a keyboard and mouse efficiently. Ability to lift and carry light objects occasionally, like files or supplies. Adequate hearing to participate in conversations and phone calls.
