Job Description:

Must be trained and perform all the tasks and responsibilities of the Executive Specialist I. In addition, provides direction and supervision to the Executive Protection Specialists assigned to either the executive floors or an assignment in the area. This requires a detailed analysis of the situation and the development of a security action plan that both provides for a secure environment while allowing for the unimpeded management of the corporation. Takes on more complex projects and studies to ensure the safety of the executives and their environment. Manages financial aspects of the program and engages with and performs other aspects of executive protection analysis in support of the overall program. Assignments often require a high degree of analysis, development of a unique action plan, and implementation of that plan. Required to have a more expanded level of coordination with the top executives, their family members, other executives, and strategic partners to develop and advance the appropriate security environment.

This job is responsible for the access control to executive spaces ensuring a secure environment for senior management, support staff, and client related events. Key responsibilities include incident management and response and screening all mail and parcels. Job expectations include providing action plans for transportation services and coordination with local law enforcement/ other security agencies. Occasional travel to support events in support of Management Team may be requested. Must be able to complete 2-3 day Protective/Evasive driving training. Must be able to complete basic first aid and AED medical training. and pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities:

  • Sitting/Standing for long periods of time
  • Develops the overall security strategy, policies and standards to ensure the physical security of all employees, visitors and clients and bank property/assets
  • Plans and prepares for crisis response, workplace violence and other emergency events
  • Ensures consistent application of professional best practices in administering the overall physical security and/or life safety programs
  • Plans and organizes resources to achieve the group's goals and objectives
  • Coordinates the identification and reporting of significant issues and develops recommendations to senior management to protect the company's people, assets and brand
  • Maintains close business relationships with all lines of business in the region, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and issues/concerns are escalated appropriately
  • Works closely with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, regulatory and industry counterparts to proactively pool resources, share intelligence and develop robust security and life safety programs
  • Adapts to evolving security circumstances through problem-solving
  • Assesses risks, vulnerabilities and threats through understanding of surveillance and counter surveillance
  • Performs first aid and basic emergency life saving techniques when needed and maintains any related certifications
  • Communicates and liaises with all Life Safety and Security teammates to ensure safety and security of all activities
  • Documents security activities and incidents as required

Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience with physical security, Law Enforcement, or military employment
  • Current Driver's License at time of hire


Desired Qualifications:
  • 10 years of Executive Protection training and experience
  • A firm working knowledge of the greater metro area. This includes major transportation hubs, landmarks, and roadways


Minimum Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
