As a Technical Product Manager Intern, you’ll work with product, engineering, business, & design teams to further our initiatives in both the Finance & Insurance space and rapidly evolving Electric Vehicle segment. This role is at the intersection of technology and business, as we seek to continually provide value for our clients. We’re looking for candidates that hold a love for technology, appreciate the details, and are critical thinkers. They also have an overall curiosity and strong collaboration skills for working alongside the many talented Cox employees.
What you'll do:

Learn about Cox Automotive’s products & solutions

Work alongside with Product to identify key gaps and/or opportunities in the direct-to-consumer Electrical Vehicle space

Build process workflows and system design diagrams for internal & external usage

Partner with Product & Engineering to generate data mapping documents for new software products
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive an assortment of initiatives

Validate features & perform ad-hoc smoke testing
Important Skills:
-
Process mapping, workflow design or creation, system diagramming (taking an abstract concept & visualize it)

General ability to read & understand code

Critical & analytical thinking skills
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with using APIs in a professional/academic/or person setting
- Exposure to finance/lending/credit, etc.
Minimum qualifications
-
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field

Exhibits exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Passion for data-driven decision-making

Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Available for a 12-week internship during the summer of 2024

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
