RapidScale, a Cox Business Company, is hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst to support the RapidScale Compensation Team. This is a hybrid role at RapidScale’s headquarters in Raleigh, NC or Cox’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The position will report to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis. The Compensation Analyst position is part of the sales operation engine for the high-growth managed services company, where you will use your skills to design, distribute, & oversee all compensation activity for the business. In this role, you’ll support planning of commission structure, tool management, & function as key stakeholder for our clients and partners.
Some key responsibilities will include the following:

Responsible for ownership over monthly internal and external commission payment process inclusive of payments, reporting, and reconciliation management

Act as point of contact for commission tools and platforms. Own development, implementation, and continued enhancement of tools related to commissions and compensation

Serves as the subject matter expert on compensation programs; provides guidance to group and local leadership on best practices related to policies and processes

Manage, develop and implement month, quarter and year-end commission processes and payments

Works with cross-functional teams on ad hoc compensation related-projects and initiatives

Performs the full scope of activities associated with development and administration of competitive and legally compliant compensation programs

Provides guidance to the business and participates in the development of creative solutions on a variety of total compensation strategies

Supports job classification through job evaluation and calibration across the enterprise to ensure grade alignment per the career architecture leveling guide

Analyze large amounts of business and financial data, determine key takeaways and articulate the story effectively
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience directly related to compensation consulting to internal or external partners and developing compensation programs. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field

Full Knowledge of industry practices and complete understanding of compensation principles, concepts, and practices including compliance with state and federal laws

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups and other advanced functions). Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Systems experience including reporting and data management within a database, e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, Kronos, Ultipro, Pay Factors, People Fluent, Oracle, etc.

Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to conceptualize data as it relates to compensation; ability to interpret business objectives and successfully incorporate those into compensation terms

Builds and maintains strong working relationships with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders

Ability to interact with and influence senior executives to successfully deliver reporting results and recommendations related to compensation plan strategy, design or outcomes

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through World at Work
-
SQL knowledge a bonus
