Key Responsibilities
+ Ensure safe erection, modifying and dismantling of equipment;
+ Work with the Yard hand Installer crews to insure jobs are completed in a timely manner;
+ Sign-off on safe erection of mast climbing work platforms and assessing job / job qualification;
+ Establish and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule;
+ Understand and execute all safety regulations of equipment, safe use and safety of job sites;
+ Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations;
+ Coordinate deliveries;
+ Perform all necessary documentation;
+ Provide on-going technical support;
+ Conduct field verification as required;
+ Provide leadership to the crew in order to fulfill the task assigned on a timely, quality, performance and cost manner;
+ Set-up equipment (assemble, erect and dismantle mast climbing work platforms) on job site as needed by customers located in Hydro-Rents Western Canada service area;
+ Examine blue prints and specifications to determine the dimensions of the structure;
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair customer’s equipment when needed;
+ Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, constantly striving to obtain the customer’s complete satisfaction;
+ Perform basic maintenance of rental equipment;
+ Cleaning (pressure washing) and preparation of rental equipment;
+ Sorting, inspecting and grading stock;
+ Assist in picking and packing orders and in maintaining accurate inventory control. Inventory counts;
+ Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or using a forklift;
+ Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, well-organized yard and work environment;
+ Perform duties in a safe and professional manner and use appropriate safety equipment;
+ Perform any other additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma;
+ Mininmum of five (5) years of experience in construction works, involving scaffolding, masonry or construction coordination, with a minimum of two (2) years at a supervisory level;
+ Knowledge of access systems (swing stages, mast climbers);
+ Proficient knowledge of Health and Safety;
+ Forklift certified;
+ Comfortable to work at heights;
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints;
+ Mechanical skills;
+ Valid class 5 Driver’s licence;
+ Strong work ethic, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
+ Physically able to carry out the requirements of the job.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance as well as a generous group RRSP plan. The salary range for this position is $33 CAD to $40 CAD/hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
