Lot Operations Specialist II - Military Veterans

- Accountable for location’s tracker inventory.
- Manages the retrieval of trackers that require further attention (RFA) and determines corrective action.
- Responsible for returning defective trackers to Cox2M, ensuring user interface and billing accurately reflects returns and new orders.
- Monitor vehicle inventory volume and fluctuations to proactively anticipate spikes or changes in inventory levels and coordinate with Management and GCM to manage inventory levels, accordingly.
- Ability to review and comprehend the inventory analytics dashboard and adherence to project metrics.
- Proactively monitors and works with team(s) to address issues to prevent leakage (<2%) and maintain a health tracker inventory.
- Builds and sustains relationships with lot operations teams and serves as the central point of contact regarding tracker inventory.
- Enthusiastically promotes, communicates, and champions identified change, project adoption, and continuous improvement across operating units.
- Enforces adoption of project standards, operating procedures, best practices, and metrics.
- Supports Lot Vision program by actively participating in ICC calls (share best practices, etc.).
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
- OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump starting vehicles.)
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
Preferred
- Knowledge of lot operations/lot layout preferred.
- Knowledge of LDM preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
Work Environment
- Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
- Support manager in coordination of the lot department
- Assisting in the coordination of sale day (i.e, driving, working on the lanes, setting up lanes for hi-line sales, etc.)
- Assisting customer in locating their vehicles
- Working on the lot with and by yourself in staging out vehicles for bulk vans to grab
- Scanning cars, you stage to a location using the TC75.
- Finding lost vehicles
- Using TC-75 to look up vehicle information.
- Assist customers with answering any questions regarding their vehicle or paperwork.
