RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble historical financial models using publicly available macroeconomic data.
  • Conduct financial, statistical, and industry analysis to support the team's investment thesis.
  • Research sector trends to support currency investment recommendations.
  • Prepare reports/primers on economies, markets, and industries.
  • Initiate and build relationships with clients to develop a network of contacts appropriate to the industry, country, or asset market covered.
  • Collaborate cross product to broaden skill set and enhance analysis to support investment thesis.
  • Use pragmatic market knowledge in a variety of sectors within fixed income market, including government bonds, corporate bonds, and asset-backed securities.
  • Automate manual processes that require large data sets using Python to prepare customized reports.
  • Develop and document quantitative model methodologies for risk management.
  • Implement quantitative models to analyze fixed income financial products.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Financial Mathematics , Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related: and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Using pragmatic market knowledge in a variety of sectors within fixed income market, including government bonds, corporate bonds, and asset-backed securities;
  • Automating manual processes that require large data sets using Python to prepare customized reports;
  • Developing and documenting quantitative model methodologies for risk management; and,
  • Implementing quantitative models to analyze fixed income financial products.
  • 10% domestic and international travel required, as necessary.
