Bringing Home the Dough:
Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000 / year.
The Lead Process & Solutions Supply Chain Analyst is an expert in the functionality of the SAP Production Planning and integration with other supply chain modules and execution of design, build, test, and change activities in the Supply Chain application area.
Responsible for creating and supporting SAP and related solutions for Flowers Food’s supply chain processes including the design and configuration of SAP Production Planning module to effectively meet documented business requirements. This role also creates functional documentation for enhancements, integrations, and data conversions.
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
• Design solutions and implement in SAP supply chain solutions in Production Planning & Quality management
• Perform hands on configurations in areas of SAP Production Planning – such as, but not limited to MRP, LTP, Planned orders, orders, staging, confirmations, batch management, integrating with MES systems
• Perform hands on configuration in SAP Quality Management such as, but not limited to – Inspection lots, results recording, inspection characteristics, source and WIP inspection
• Recommend and Perform master data settings for production planning area and Quality Management area such as Material Masters, BOM, Routings, Work Centers
• Assist & Support existing Bakeries in resolving their day to day SAP production planning related incidents and queries in Interfaces, COGI, MRP
• Show cross functional expertise on SAP production planning integrating areas such as FI, SD, MM, IM, QM areas, good to have in IBP & PPDS
• Create functional design documents for RICEF objects such as Reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements & forms
• Work with third party or internal teams to build minor enhancements in SAP production planning and quality management area
• Create functional design documents for enhancements, integrations, and data conversions
• Execute SAP supply chain functional activities in partnership with Business Relationship Management Supply Chain Team, SAP Development, SAP Analytics teams and the SAP managed and SAP related 3rd party supply chain application service providers
• Mentor SAP Analysts
• Support Management in the assessment of emerging SAP technologies against business needs and interpret business value
• Ensure the consistency and maintainability of new and existing SAP supply chain applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical and quality standards, guidance and reference architectures
• Develop productive relationships with business across the organization to influence how SAP supply chain applications can enable new sources of value
• Execute methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall) and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement
• Ensure that supply chain applications processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation
• Provide support in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to ensure SAP supply chain applications perform to Flowers’ standards. Assist analysts and developers in resolving issues
• Seek out continuous improvement opportunities and provide input and recommendations
• Comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including, but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in SAP Production Planning application design, development, quality assurance and implementation processes
• 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience building cross-organizational consensus with exposure to technology providers and/or business clients
• In-depth knowledge and experience of SAP capabilities in most of the following SAP Supply Chain areas: Plan to Produce, Production Planning, Quality Management and Supply Chain Master Data processes
• Experience integrating SAP Supply Chain solutions into a broad array of non-legacy technologies and architectures
Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements
• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, finance, business management, engineering or a related field. MIS, CIS or business-related degree is preferred.
