BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $62,400-$70,720 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide direction and leadership to the yard team
+ Ensure the punctuality of yard personnel.
+ Accuracy of time cards for full time and temporary personnel. Responsible for yard production schedule.
+ Ensure yard productivity standards are met as well as identify any potential overtime needs and production shortfalls
+ Compiling yard workers production sheets.
+ Ensuring proper process and timelines are in place for all yard activities.
+ Coordinates equipment repair and maintenance.
+ Coordinates physical/cycle counts.
+ Approves and finalizes damage assessments.
+ Ensure safety policies are adhered to by yard staff.
+ Ensure monthly safety checklist is completed including fire extinguishers, LOTO, Eye Wash stations and weekly forklift sheet review.
+ Hold toolbox talks with the crews and ensures JHA’s are being filed out and discussed before work starts.
+ Conduct weekly and monthly safety audits as discussed in Aluma Safety Policy.
+ Ensure the reliability of the Equipment Inventory, through the control and supervision of deliveries and returns made for Aluma’s clients and vendors, as well as the equipment movement of the Repair and Main Yards.
+ Guarantee that the delivered and returned equipment counts are 100% reliable (according to the requirements) and that they type of equipment being delivered / returned is accurate.
+ Monitor the compliance of established procedures for yard audits.
+ Conduct the inventory movement control between warehouses; guarantee that the equipment is not moved from the inventory without his authorization.
+ Assists in creating and fulfilling stock transfer orders.
+ Assists in creating non-rental fleet purchases requisitions (yard supplies and finished goods inventory)
+ Verifies goods receipt and verifies invoices with reference to above
+ Enters picked quantities into delivery documents (ship and return)
+ Creates material movement transactions (re: assembly, disassembly, repair, damage)
+ Special duties as requested by Operations Manager
+ This position directly oversees the activities of yard personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 5 years related working experience or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding and reasoning ability in order to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in dynamic and constantly changing situations.
+ Proactive Leadership skills, managing and motivating staff
+ Ability to work with changing/conflicting deadlines
