Job Summary
Responsible for providing legal advice and recommendations for action to executives and management within a variety of business units regarding labor relations and wage and hour matters of various
complexities which have or may have a sizable dollar impact on business activities and operations.
Responsibilities also include responding on behalf of the company to government agency investigations, audits and administrative charges; developing and delivering training; and the assessment, selection,
and supervision of outside counsel.
Job Responsibilities
- Primarily leverages knowledge of legal specialty in providing counsel as it builds its knowledge ofthe business context in which it operates
- Review and prepare legal documents prior to presentation to management for execution toensure accurate expression of the legal content
- May receive specific direction from management or more senior law professionals as to theoutcomes, process and schedules expected.
- Collaborates with the business units that it serves in order to achieve corporate objectives andmitigate unnecessary business risk
- Research legal principles and precedents, engage and manage outside counsel, draft legaldocuments, gather relevant case related information using multiple sources and methods, provide work guidance to other professional, paraprofessional and support staff in developing solutions toproblems presented.
- Maintain currency and fluency in the legal and business trends that could impact those businessunits within Walgreens that it serves.

Basic Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and at least five (5) years of post-bar experience in a combination of law firm and corporate settings.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in labor relations, which includes representing organizations before the National Labor Relations Board, working on organizing campaigns, and/or negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
Salary Range$165900 - $282200 / Salaried
