Sourcing and Procurement Manager - Military Veterans

Reporting directly to the Global Procurement Manager, you will manage a professional team of sourcing experts and optimize our sourcing strategies. This hybrid/remote position offers the flexibility of working from home with the requirement of being on-site three days a week. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the purchasing of services and supplies necessary for operating the organization, including machinery, equipment, tools, and raw materials
• Partner with the Coatings and Sealants, Sales and S&T teams to identify, support and manage material availability to meet production needs
• Support PPG's Coatings and Sealants Science and Technology Labs when supplier issues arise and implement resolutions
• Attend required meetings with suppliers and partners, to support our needs and continuity of supply chain
• Communicate with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing regarding inventory levels
• Review proposals for price, delivery time, and quality, and select suppliers accordingly
• Institute and promote cost reduction projects
• Direct the purchasing function, including managerial and administrative responsibilities and authorize purchase orders

Qualifications

• Two (2) years in a lead, supervisory, or managerial role in Supply Chain, Production Purchasing, or related experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline required
• Experience in business process analysis, lean and six sigma, quality assurance, strategic sourcing, team facilitation, materials management, QAD, ERP (e.g., SAP), and cost reduction strategies preferred
• APICS certification preferred
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary Range: $95,000-$120,000 Depending on experience
