Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack.
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Utilizes the Agile Software Development Methodology.
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Automates manual release activities.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
  • Developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications.
  • Supports activities for the corporate systems architecture.
  • Works closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications.
  • Utilizes in-depth capital markets product knowledge to manage a high level of risk.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages.
  • Utilizes the latest development technologies and applying them to the development of applications.
  • Performs database design by analyzing the various levels of database normalization and denormalization and implementing performance improvements, including tuning, optimization, and partitions with high volumes of data.
  • Provides solutions to problems with superior analytical and critical thinking.
  • Effectively communicates and articulates ideas to the team.


Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experienceresearching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting cyber security technology applications with the Microsoft .NET framework.
  • Technical skills, including ASP.NET, Transact SQL, AngularJS/ReactJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap/Foundation CSS frameworks, Container based micro services, and REST based services.
  • Knowledge and experience of software development tools and applications with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio/Toad, and Fiddler/Postman and Kafka Streaming
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and maintaining Information Security Access Management Systems and applications by utilizing Active Directory integration, Mainframe RACF, Midrange access controls and collaboration platforms, including Office 365.
