Entry Tech Transfer Engineer - Military Veterans

The SSG Process Development team is looking to add an entry level research engineer to the dynamic group. Your responsibility is to contribute to the successful technical transfer of new OLED products to from lab scale to manufacturing facilities. You will work onsite at our Monroeville, PA R&D Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a senior technical transfer engineer, contribute to the effective technical transfer of new products/processes into the manufacturing facilities.


• Completion of detailed technology transfer packages to facilitate process transfer from the lab to a manufacturing site, including process flow diagram, mass balances, critical to quality process parameters, safety assessments, batch log-sheet reviews, etc.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate the transfer process and address challenges.


• Collaborate with process development team to identify potential process issues, collect/analyze process data for scale-up calculations, understand new processes and technology as they relate to manufacturing operations.


• Contribute to the technical risk assessment for new processes.


• Works in a safe manner. Reads, understands and follows all pertinent SOPs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or closely related field


• Strong project management skills


• No industry experience required for this position
