Pay Philosophy

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.


Description

The Senior Consultant, Enterprise Communications on the Global Brand and Communications team is aligned to Liberty Mutual’s Global Risk Solutions (GRS) business. An exceptionally strong writer, the Senior Consultant’s primary focus will write compelling and exceptionally crafted communications on behalf of senior executives for internal and external audiences, e.g., emails, video scripts and speeches, aligned with our business, brand and enterprise goals. The person in this role will partner with the GRS Alignment team to plan and develop communication materials that support the strategic objectives of the business, and in many cases will write the communications to keep external audiences updated and internal audiences inspired, informed and engaged.

Job Responsibilities:


  • In partnership with GRS Communications lead and GRS Alignment team, develops compelling and exceptionally crafted communications on behalf of senior executives for internal and external audiences based on an aligned-upon communication plan that focuses on enterprise and GRS strategic priorities.

  • Translates business and communication objectives into written communications, in alignment with strategic communications plans.

  • Ensures effective of key messages to target audiences, including employees. Ensures alignment with brand and enterprise goals, and culture.

  • Proactively identifies and develops opportunities to syndicate content across audiences and channels, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree, preferably in in Communications, English or Journalism, or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant and progressively more responsible communications experience, to include internal communications work.

  • Displays business acumen, strong consultative skills and integrated thinking.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and advanced project planning skills with a proven track record of execution.
