Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a talented BIM Manager with rail and metro project experience to join our team! You will lead and manage BIM implementation and execution for transportation projects, collaborating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities include developing BIM standards, training team members, and overseeing digital model creation and maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative transportation projects and advance BIM practices within our organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
Enforce the Digital Delivery strategy and champion innovation within the project.
Provide advice and support to the client and support chain regarding emerging technologies, asset performance, and operations requirements.
Develop and maintain client BIM documentation aligned with ISO19650 standards.
Assess the support chain and facilitate mobilization and BIM kick-off meetings.
Create detailed work process maps to streamline project workflows.
Ensure compliance of Appointed Parties' BIM documentation and other digital deliverables with client and international standards.
Conduct regular BIM Coordination meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
Organize digital workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Facilitate lessons learned sessions to continuously improve processes.
Perform inter-disciplinary design checks to ensure integration and accuracy.
Monitor and track implementation and performance using Power BI and other online tools.
Provide flexible cover and support for the BIM Coordinator team when required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from a recognized institution/university.
Over 15 years of experience in BIM/Digital Delivery, specifically working with PAS 1192 / ISO 19650 standards.
Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, Navisworks, and Revit.
Strong understanding of digital delivery strategies and emerging technologies in the construction industry.
Ability to develop and maintain BIM documentation aligned with international standards.
Experience in conducting BIM Coordination meetings, digital workshops, and lessons learned sessions.
Skilled in performing inter-disciplinary design checks to ensure integration and accuracy.
Competence in monitoring and tracking implementation and performance using Power BI and other online tools.
Capability to provide flexible cover and support for the BIM Coordinator team when required.
Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and support the engineering team.
Ability to interface effectively with clients, stakeholders, and various project teams.
Knowledge of asset performance and operations requirements in the context of BIM.
Experience in developing work process maps to streamline project workflows.
Ability to ensure compliance with client and international standards for digital deliverable.
GCC experience is preferred.
Skills / Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration and reporting.
Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems.
Effective in a multi-organizational environment, developing relationships that align with the client's proactive, collaborative culture.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
