ASRC Federal is seeking a manager with experience in healthcare IT and software deployment processes to join our team. Our program supports the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) mission to deploy industry-leading solutions by providing a full range of business, operational, and technical work streams for the Program Executive Office (PEO), Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS), and the associated Program Management Offices.
The Manager Technology Program Management/ Implementation Lead will be responsible for supporting the implementation of electronic health record (EHR) software solutions for the DHA and Federal Partner Agencies. This is an exciting, mission-driven opportunity to enhance the delivery of care through a suite of current and new products that improve clinical, business, and analytic functions across the DoD patient experience
Work arrangement: Must reside in the Washington, DC metro area (preferred); Remote
Responsibilities:
The Manager Technology Program Management/ Implementation Lead must have strong leadership, communication, and project management skills; can set a vision and guide client and team to execute; and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Prior experience in various delivery methods such as Agile and Waterfall is valuable.
The Manager Technology Program Management/ Implementation Lead will be required to support different parts of the following duties as assigned/ required by different acquisition actions prioritized by the platform leader and other senior stakeholders.
- Lead a team of Implementation Coordinators supporting medical facilities with product build and implementation projects
- Support strategic initiatives and business process improvement activities
- Actively support the capability needs planning and development process
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop business cases
- Establish Integrated Product Team and oversee the development of implementation planning artifacts (e.g., RACI Matrix, Implementation Plan, Project Schedule, etc.)
- Monitor projects' progress and perform risk/ issue management
- Develop and conduct executive-level briefings on projects' statuses
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience supporting product built and implementation projects is required
- 2+ years of management consulting experience
- Project management background via education or experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
- Ability to manage multiple/ fragmented responsibilities at once with poise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of tailoring complex concepts in a clear, concise, unambiguous, engaging, and convincing manner to specific audience, including PowerPoint for executive audience
- Program, project, and/ or product management experience for Federal acquisition efforts
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Knowledge and experience with software systems and supporting programs/ services
- Undergraduate degree in related field is required, master's degree preferred
- Experience in DoD or Military Health System is preferred
- US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
