ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Warehouse Material Handling Laborer.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen
- Must have a valid SC driver's license.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to operate within Microsoft Office, specifically email, Word and Excel
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam.
- Must be able to lift 70lbs.
- Must be able to operate a hand truck and/or forklift.
- Must be able to process written instructions to build/tear down furniture items.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm (Flex as needed but rare)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with placing inventory items on shelves, in bins or other proper storage locations as directed by the Student Support Manager or warehouse specialists.
- Assist warehouse personnel with loading and unloading of materials and freight delivered to prescribed locations.
- Assist in quarterly physical inventories.
- Accomplish quarterly safety inspections
- Assist in move orders, set up and relocation of items as identified by the customer or the Student Support Manager.
- Set up classrooms with desks, chairs, and training materials as described by the customer, Student Support Manager or warehouse specialists.
- Deliver packages and/or materials to specified locations based on requests from the customer/management
- Maintain duties such as vehicle monitor and shred programs
- Willing to be cross utilized in other areas of responsibility, willing to learn additional duties and fill in/execute them as directed by management
- Regularly sweep and organize all supply and warehouse areas.
