Job Description

The Paralegal is responsible for the Types, reviews, and e-files new case files such as emergency and affidavits. Drafts, reviews, and organizes legal documents including motions, orders, pleadings, and subpoenas. Prepares attorney's cases for court and assist attorneys in person court or virtual court.

Responsibilities:

• Primary Updates Lawbase with all new information received from court and client
• Request orders from the court and provides client, conservators and parents with signed orders.
• Works with client to ensure all cases are ready for trial.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Division Director and Team Lead.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• An associate degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a closely similar field OR Paralegal certificate.
• A minimum of five (3-5) years of experience as a paralegal.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $21.50-$22.50/hr not including benefits. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
