About the Opportunity
For our Global Delivery Organization (GDO) in Krakow we are currently looking for a Cost Estimator, supporting the ITER project within Energy & Environment International Business Group. Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiation Support: Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to negotiate estimate values, ensuring fair and reasonable contractor proposals.
- Cost Analysis: Utilize Cleopatra software to develop and validate cost estimates for assembly and installation works, focusing on scope changes and contract allocations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to validate costs of Direct Implementations (DI) and Ordre de Service, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- PCR Review: Review and validate cost estimates related to Project Change Requests (PCRs), ensuring all changes are fully identified and traceable.
- Cost Savings: Identify and document cost savings and avoidance opportunities, contributing to the financial efficiency of the project.
- Support and Documentation: Assist in elaborating price breakdowns, financial price offer analysis, and preparing position papers on scope ownership and compensation eligibility.
Here's What You'll Need
- Certification by AACE, ICEC, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of P6 and SAP.
- Experience in baseline control and management.
- Demonstrable competence in the use the Cleopatra estimating software (in particular for work relating to the Assembly and Installation work and contracts)
- Proficiency in English, as it is the project language.
- French is an asset
- Access to cost reference information from various industries is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Travel may be required on project site to Saint-Paul-lez-Durance, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.
