Inside Sales Rep - Military Veterans

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to support our sales organization by handling administrative duties related to the selling of our products and services. The ISR will achieve business targets by leveraging excellent telephone and email communication skills. This individual will also drive phone-based revenue generation, create sales leads, initiate prospect calls, and build lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements:

- A university or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- 2-3 years of direct experience in a sales or telesales role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to initiate the sales process.
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and develop sales within the existing client base.
- Collaborate with the Sales Supervisor and Account Managers to define and implement effective sales strategies
- Maintain and expand the company’s prospect database.
- Ensure leads are properly followed up by passing them to Account Managers with detailed information (e.g., calls-to-action, dates, profiles, sources).
- Conduct sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other related sales activities.
- Assist in preparing RFP responses for potential clients.
- Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows, exhibits, and events when needed.
- Perform outbound follow-up calls to existing customers to cross-sell and up-sell services.
- Highlight product/service features, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues as needed.

Additional Duties:

Coordinate customer training when necessary.
Enter new customer data and update existing accounts in the corporate database.
Effectively communicate the company’s brand identity and corporate position.
Attend periodic sales training sessions to enhance skills.

Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision-makers.
- Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and objection resolution skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Basic mathematical skills for pricing and calculations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for sales events or exhibits.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
