As a Senior Business Development Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability in the field of Process Optimization for Industrial Automation business. In this role, you will develop and execute a strategic business development plan, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities, and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders. Your leadership and strategic thinking skills will be crucial in making data-driven decisions and proactively identifying potential opportunities. You will report directly to our Global Business Lead and work out of our Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of Honeywells Connected Industrial growth strategy, shaping the future of the business, and identifying opportunities that will propel us forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of the Go To Market motion, driving demand generation for the outcome and Offering pillar.
- Measure success through qualified pipeline generation and year-over-year growth.
- Lead the Business Development strategy for the offering, including white space analysis and partnerships, as well as new product introductions.
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify growth areas.
- Provide support and facilitate growth for the front-end Sales and consulting team.
- Implement best practices from different regions to enhance Sales performance.
- Take charge of performance monitoring and MOS ownership, driving the Global MOS and ensuring effective monitoring and reporting.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, P&E, Consulting, and Business teams to drive offering uptake.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years leading in Sales, Business Development, or Consulting for Process Optimization Solutions.
- Experience in Demand Generation or Business Development activities.
- Strong grasp of/focus on usability of CRMA tools.
- Ability to communicate business values and influence the commercial team and customers.
- Ability to define a strategic vision and articulate it in front of a variety of audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility with internal stakeholders and customers8.
WE VALUE
- BS, MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, , or equivalent.
- An MBA in General Management, Operations
- The ability to understand customers needs, market segments, data trends, and translate them into ideas for growing the Software business.
