As a Principal Recruiter you will be responsible for collaborating with senior management across several strategic and high-profile positions.  This is a broad, hands-on role, requiring a passion for recruitment, with a solution oriented and creative mindset.

The Principal Recruiter will play a critical role in driving and ensuring we are hiring the best talent and therefore delivering the best projects to our clients.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and own the full recruitment life cycle for key, critical and senior appointments.
  • Qualified candidates will be well versed in all aspects of recruiting senior candidates, including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation and development, internal stakeholder management and offer and negotiation.
  • Working closely with Senior Level Internal Hiring managers across the business, ensuring you can successfully take in a detailed brief and articulate with Management from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. This will involve asking seeking questions and challenging management on key decisions to ensure this adheres to the recruitment process.
  • In addition to this, driving forward new ideas which can help to streamline processes which help speed up the recruitment process.
  • Creating unique search strategies to identify the best talent for Parsons
  • Fosters and sustains trusted connections with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders. Cultivates a positive and professional relationship with potential candidates to elevate the overall candidate experience.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the organization's culture, values, and work environment and infuses it in customized communications.
  • Articulates the employee value proposition (EVP)to potential candidates and stays informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in the job market.
  • Uses market insights to tailor recruitment strategies and stay competitive in attracting top talent.
  • Quickly adapts to changes in the business environment, including shifts in hiring needs or organizational priorities. Embraces new technologies and methodologies to improve recruitment processes.
  • Deliberately provides a positive candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process.
  • Continuously seek feedback from candidates and use it to enhance the overall candidate experience.
  • Successfully liaise with mobilization and HR teams to ensure the successful onboarding of the candidate.
  • Developing and maintaining in-depth global talent pools that can be leveraged to ensure recruitment requirements are satisfied in a swift and efficient manner

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of full life cycle recruiting
  • A dynamic mindset characterized by a strong drive to take initiative, think creatively and embrace challenges turning these into opportunities through a solution driven approach.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Attention to details and advanced organization skills.
  • Experience in using advanced applicant tracking systems.
  • Accomplished in developing stakeholder and candidate relationships.
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor degree from a recognized University or recognized HR qualification or certificate
  • Experience in engineering and construction recruitment or closely related.
  • Experience of working with advanced ATS systems, including Workday and Phenom.
  • Vision for embracing technology and candidate identification
  • Upholds the principles and values of the company and possess a high level of integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle a variety of sensitive situations and confidential assignments
