Job Summary:
Embark on an Exciting Journey with the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Medicine & Public Health as the Radius Medical Image Analysis Research Program Manager.

Radius is our advanced image post-processing lab for clinical services and research, aimed at improving patient care.
In this role, you'll oversee and help grow the Radius program, supporting researchers and clinicians in utilizing image-based outcome measures in research and clinical studies through well-validated image analysis, including some developed by UW imaging researchers.

Responsibilities: Plans and leads operational, outreach, and promotional activities of a research program and serves as a subject matter expert.
- 10% Plans and directs the day-to-day operational activities of one or multiple research programs or units according to established research objectives in alignment with strategic plans and initiatives
- 10% Assists in the development, coordination, and facilitation of trainings and workshops for internal and external audiences to disseminate research program developments and information
- 10% Plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support research aims
- 25% Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- 20% Serves as a unit liaison and subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholder groups, collaborates across disciplines and functional areas, provides program information, and promotes the accomplishments and developments of scholars and research initiatives
- 10% Monitors program budget(s) and approves unit expenditures
- 15% Develops policies, procedures, and institutional agreements on behalf of the program

Qualifications:
Required
- At least 1 year of experience in program development, including policy development, contract negotiations and drafting, budget planning, strategic planning, and/or relevant experience.
- Previous experience with internal and external partners.
Preferred
- Proficiency in advanced image analysis techniques and/or familiarity with medical imaging software.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, including statistical analysis and visualization.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects.
- At least 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience.

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Salary:
Minimum $96,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

The starting salary for the position is $96,000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:
