Description of Duties:

The Transformation Strategy Officer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Be responsible for supporting the management of complex and diverse intra- and inter-departmental organizations.

• Formalize the goals and objectives that achieves the IRES vision, as well as recommending performance measures and priorities for activities and resources that achieves greater efficiencies and effectiveness for our organizations and our customers.

• Support the Chief Transformation Officer and other IRES leaders to increase performance, collaboration, and problem solving across all of our cross-functional teams.

This position is a hybrid of on-site work and telework

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 20 years of general experience; Associates degree and 18 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 16 years of general experience; Master's degree and 14 years of general experience

• Must have at least 14 years of directly related experience

• Must have at least 15 years of experience in management or leadership roles

• Must have experience in strategic and operational planning

• Must have working knowledge and experience managing projects in an Agile methodology Must have working knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering

• Must have working knowledge and experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

• Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance

Desired Requirements:

• Have a master's degree

• Strong communication skills and at the executive/Flag/General officer level

• Have a working knowledge and experience in enterprise or global operations

• Have a working knowledge and experience in managing cross-functional organizations

• Have experience managing large and complex projects/programs/missions

• Have working knowledge and experience as a Scrum Master Have working knowledge and experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, Doors, Jazz

• Have working knowledge and experience with Project Management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab

• Have working knowledge and experience of DevSecOps tools and/or DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls, policies and process

This position is expected to pay $172,000 - $205,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
