Job Overview The School of Education invites applications for a Program Manager (100% FTE) in the School of Education within the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) at the University of Cincinnati. The Program Manager will support program admissions and graduation functions, organize, and maintain student records for the School of Education. This position will support the University?s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities. Essential Functions Coordinate administrative tasks for the School of Education Graduate Programs, including serving as liaison with Program Coordinators for master?s, doctoral, and certificate programs. Assist with licensure related needs to support students, faculty, and licensure programs. Assist with maintaining data collection within Student Learning & Licensure (SLL). Assist in troubleshooting SLL errors for students, mentors, and supervisors.  Assist with annual training of field supervisors on the use of field technology. Maintain internal School of Education forms and manage updates to forms. Maintain student records and manage reinstatements, extensions and leave of absences. Implement University and Graduate School policies and procedures. Manage student success plans for retention initiatives Assist faculty and students with questions regarding Graduate School and University policies and processes, including registration, graduation, and billing. Assist new and returning faculty with Catalyst and Slate questions/trainings Act as liaison to graduate program faculty, external entities, and community organizations. Serve as liaison with University offices such as Student Services, Marketing, Student Accounts, International Student Services, One Stop, Registrar?s Office and the Graduate School. Compile documents/records for graduation checkout, including degree audits. Maintain data (Schedule for Records Retention and Disposition) according to the schedule codes set by the university official (Vice President and Provost for Baccalaureate and Graduate Affairs) Complete end of year letters and check credit hours/registration. Manage student records in Catalyst Approve class permissions Perform related duties based on departmental need. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelors' degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience. Experience must be in program coordination. Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Three (3) years of relevant experience Additional Qualifications Considered Higher Education experience High competence in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel Experience with querying and analyzing data, using student data systems (e.g., Slate, Catalyst and CART) Strong technology skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly Ability to multitask Strong organizational skills Creative problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal, communication skills Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
