Salary: $50,000+, depending on experience

About the Role:
Are you a detail-oriented and organized paralegal with experience in claims and litigation? We are seeking a Claims Paralegal to join our team! In this role, you will provide vital legal support in handling insurance claims, litigation, and settlement negotiations. You’ll work closely with attorneys, manage case files, conduct legal research, and ensure all legal deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze insurance claims, policy coverage, and legal liability.
- Draft pleadings, settlement agreements, demand letters, and discovery responses.
- Organize and maintain case files, including medical records and expert evaluations.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and industry regulations.
- Prepare case summaries, deposition summaries, and trial exhibits.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, claimants, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- File and track court documents, motions, and pleadings in compliance with deadlines.
- Assist in trial preparation by preparing witness lists, subpoenas, and exhibits.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Claims Paralegal (Personal Injury preferred).
- Ability to manage 60+ caseloads efficiently.
- Proficiency with LexisNexis, MS Office, and timekeeping software.
- NC/SC licensure preferred.
