ISSO - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a ISSO in Raleigh, NC. This ISSO will join a large global enterprise company looking to develop security systems and networking technologies.

Requirements for a ISSO include:

·       Will be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and providing support for various programs within the Intelligence Community.

·       Meet with program management to assist in developing requirement for Information systems.

·       Conduct weekly audits, vulnerability scanning’s, briefings, and reviews of a System Security Plan.

·       An advanced understanding of COMSEC

Qualifications for a ISSO include:

·       Minimum 4+ years of experience as an ISSO

·       Active TS/SCI CI polygraph clearance

·       In depth knowledge of ICD 503 and NIST SP800-53 Information Systems

·       Strong experience implementing DISA STIGs

·       In depth knowledge of WINDOWS, AWS, LINUX, UNIX

·       In depth knowledge of compliance tool; NESSUS, HBSS, Splunk

·       Supervisory and leadership experience

·       Develop and submit Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)

·       Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science, or 4 years of experience in related subject area

·       DoD 8570 Industry Certification in one or more of the following: CISSP, Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE, CISM Required Education

Compensation for an ISSO include:

·       Salary range: $145,000 - $170,000

·       Comprehensive benefits package through Cigna; including Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick days as required by law, and Holidays
