Description: The primary purpose of this position is to provide fiscal oversight and management for University Advancement and the Foundation for North Carolina A&T State University. Position will maintain and disburse funds; prepare statements, checks, and vouchers; develop and manage operating budget; prepare appropriate forms and reports; and reconcile accounts. Employee must be able to apply a broad knowledge of accounting, budget, and business practices and must follow University, State, and Federal guidelines and policies in performing the responsibilities. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related business area; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Preferred: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant discipline, with at least 12 hours of accounting credits Four years' relevant work experience preferred Skills and Qualifications: Ability to gather, analyze and report information and data Great attention to detail Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Intuit QuickBooks Experience with Banner Finance preferred, but not required Ability to handle complex issues/challenges Ability to interact with various levels of management Special Instructions: You must complete and submit an electronic application for employment to be considered.
