Client Operations Manager - Military Veterans

The purpose of this role is to create a consistent experience and best practice approach for how we deliver to our clients. The COM will implement and lead effective and scalable onsite operations, processes and procedures for all clients and sites within a given portfolio. The COM will be responsible for working with Client Principals and Site Managers to ensure meeting client expectations around our service delivery execution and new business demand. In partnership with Client Principals, the COM will seek out growth opportunities at existing client sites and new sites by establishing a strong rapport with our clients. The COM will act as a point of escalation for both our clients as well as the Site Managers in relation to site operations.

Making an Impact
• Managing client expectations around our service delivery execution and new business demand and ensuring the team is meeting expectations
• Implementing associate satisfaction and retention strategies
• Identifying and implementing best practices aligned to OCE Standardization and processes to drive team efficiency and effectiveness
• Responsible for evaluating and improving safety practices at each assigned client site
• Identifying and eliminating risks in the workplace
• Instating cross-site/cross-client best practices aligned to OCE Standardization and working with OCE Onsite Solutions Leader & Director to implement and document best in class site management approach
• Ensuring client and associate satisfaction
• Striving towards growth amongst existing client sites or into new sites
• Ensuring all operational tasks are completed in a timely and compliant manner
• COM will directly report to Onsite Solutions Leader or Director with a dotted line to Client Principal unless specifically aligned with Direct Reporting Structure to Client Principal with a dotted-line accountability to Solutions Leader
• Will work directly with Plant Managers, Client Partners, Program Sponsors, Client HR, and/or other senior level leadership at each site

People Leadership
• Average span of control 6-10 direct reports
• Directly managing a team of onsite supervisors and managers for assigned clients and sites
• Providing mentorship to onsite managers, developing direct reports for career growth
• Deploying career progression plan for site associates; conducting skip-levels to keep a pulse on the team

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
• Identification of best practices and processes for each site; working with site managers and Solutions Leader or Director to implement
• Identifying risk areas, looking for opportunities to increase safety
• Contingency planning/business continuity
• Helping troubleshoot back office and operational issues related to associate payroll, data entry, and invoicing processes
• Developing retention and associate satisfaction strategies
• Coordinating with recruitment team to ensure job orders can be filled and working with existing site teams to implement and deploy site onsite recruitment strategies
• Ensuring onboarding, adjudication compliance, and orientation is completed and compliant per the contract or OCE requirements.
• Driving SOP and client playbook documentation for each site using the OCE Standard Templates.
• Identification of continuous improvement opportunities, holding meetings and workshops with associates

Qualifications

Required
• Industry: Minimum 1-3 years in site leadership role in staffing industry
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical: Digital Literacy: desktop (e.g., MS Word and Outlook) and social (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn) applications

Nice to Have
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience: Experience managing onsite programs in staffing / workforce solutions industry
• Familiarity with using and executing on Manpower client servicing tools

The base salary range for this position is between $75,000 Min USD and $90,000 Max USD is dependent upon knowledge, skill, and ability.
