THE JOB

As Director of New Product Integration, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Food & Beverage operations are always aligned with the latest trends as well as a pipeline to the developing trends. Goal is to always be aligned and ahead of the trend with the key products that enhance the fan experience and sales within each fan segment.

Working alongside vendors to create custom and unique inventory pieces within the smallware or food world. All at the same time maintaining inventory levels that are consistent with sales volumes.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Strategic Vision & Roadmap Development:

  • Define and communicate a clear product strategy for the Food & Beverage category, aligning with Live Nation’s objectives and fan-centric approach.
  • Develop and prioritize product roadmaps based on customer insights, market trends, operational feasibility, and revenue potential.
  • Drive innovation in food and beverage offerings to enhance fan experiences across venues and events.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

  • Collaborate with analytics team to develop action plans to design and manufacture by season start, driving financial performance based on their reporting data.
  • Collaborate with insights and analytics to understand emerging food and beverage trends, fan preferences, and competitor offerings.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within the current portfolio to create differentiated and memorable experiences.
  • Monitor industry shifts, technological advancements, and consumer behaviors to inform product strategies.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

  • Leverage fan feedback, sales data, and performance metrics to evaluate the success of food and beverage offerings, and identify gaps in the product offerings to effectively fill the gaps and strategize the procurement path,
  • Define and track success metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights and regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Utilize predictive analytics to forecast trends and anticipate fan needs, ensuring the portfolio remains relevant and innovative, staying ahead of product, quantity needs and pricing.
  • Work with operations teams to understand needs and take actions to drive improvements where necessary – hold monthly results review with clear communications and path towards greater efficiencies and results moving forward

Innovation & Thought Leadership:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to Live Nation’s food and beverage strategy.
  • Identify and pilot new concepts, technologies, and partnerships that elevate fan engagement and operational excellence.
  • Create scalable frameworks for testing and implementing new food and beverage initiatives across diverse event formats and regions.

Fan Experience Focus:

  • Ensure fan experience remains at the heart of all food and beverage initiatives, balancing quality, variety, affordability, and accessibility.
  • Develop products and services that enhance convenience and satisfaction, such as mobile ordering, customizable options, and loyalty rewards programs.
  • Actively seek fan feedback to continuously improve offerings and address pain points.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with teams across product development, research and analytics, brand management, strategic initiative operations, new ventures and sponsorship, venue operations for inputs and alignment to ensure seamless execution of food and beverage strategies.
  • Partner with Touring on products that could be co-branded with touring artists to bring the fan experience and food and beverage together.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sponsorship teams to enhance brand partnerships and amplify product visibility.
  • Work closely with procurement and sustainability teams to ensure high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective food and beverage solutions for products and ingredients.
  • Partner with concessionaires as well as their procurement departments to make sure all standards are met from their perspective.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

  • Create a strong working alliance with all Food & Beverage personnel
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Live Nation’s executive team, presenting strategic recommendations and aligning food and beverage initiatives with broader company goals.
  • Build and lead a team of product strategists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Influence key stakeholders across the organization to champion food and beverage priorities and investments.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in product strategy and development, category management, or related roles, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or consumer goods industries, and procurement channels.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies that drive revenue and enhance customer experience.
  • Deep understanding of food and beverage trends, supply chain management, and fan preferences within the live entertainment context.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, data interpretation, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools analytics platforms; familiarity with emerging technologies in food and beverage is a plus.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$120,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
