Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Louisiana LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a Summer 2025 Material Handling Maintenance Internship at our facility in Convent, LA. This internship provides hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability within the Material Handling Maintenance department. Interns will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians and engineers to support equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure efficient material movement and operational uptime.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree from an accredited institution
- 2.5 GPA or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently a Junior or Senior standing
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Strong interest in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability
