Responsibilities of the Cloud Systems Engineer
• As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will have a direct role in providing infrastructure services to our development environment
- Designing, writing and delivering Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the cloud environment
- Developing jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that support a continuous security updated environment
- Participating in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
- Automating repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability
Qualifications of the Cloud Systems Engineer
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology and 4+ years direct experience
- Security+ Certification or the ability to get certification within 3 months of hiring
- Experience working in a Security culture
- Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent configuration management tools
- Should have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions
Compensation for the Cloud System Engineer
• Salary; $95,106 - $150,000 (Flexible based on experience)
