Summary:
Provides exceptional customer service as part of the Facilities Department in a Corporate Office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance to employees on various office/facilities matters. May include meeting with employees, gathering and analysis of requests and recommending solutions.
- Documents issues and resolutions within the enterprise ticket tracking system, including building maintenance issues, equipment requests, etc.
- Handles initial configuration and deploys new and used multi-function devices.
- Assists with maintaining multi-function devices. This includes responding to device issues, replacing parts such as toners, drums, transfer rolls, etc., and ordering supplies for the devices.
- Maintains current documentation for multi-function devices such as issues and repairs, parts, required maintenance, etc.
- Handles coding and processing of invoices.
- Assists with other duties including ordering office supplies, assisting with print services and mailroom receiving and delivery.
- Performs backup responsibilities for the reception area and the mailroom.
- Maintains the Metro Q-Card and Woodlands Bus programs. Provides cards & passes to employees as requested, explains the process and oversees program balances. Also provides assistance regarding the Van Pool program.
- Provides input for standards, best practices and processes for assigned duties.
Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of multi-function devices with the ability to resolve complex issues related to the devices.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism for interacting with all levels of individuals required, as well as the ability to function within and contribute to a strong team environment. Handles issues via calls as well as in person.
