3D Design Engineer - Military Veterans

Eaton’s GEIS division is currently seeking a 3D Design Engineer.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
- Provide engineering design for the layout of residential unit wiring devices, utilizing established Ruff-in Revit template.
- Create installation and production documents.
- Revit family creation based on Eaton product lines.
- Work with internal and external organizations to develop specific product designs per project plan.
- Develop conceptual and end product BIM content and capability with input from customers and end users
- Present product capabilities and performance to prospective and existing customers
- Foster a learning culture, establish an environment for open sharing and improvement
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one internship/co-op experience in engineering
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with revit modeling OR NEC (National Electrical Code)
Skills:
- Knowledge of the Revit software platform, including family creation
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented
