Maintenance Technician - Military Veterans

A national manufacturer wants to hire veterans as Maintenance Technicians throughout the country at their facilities.
This position will be responsible for ensuring that the facility equipment is always functioning. They will perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure production machinery runs efficiently. Technicians will be responsible for tear down, repair, reassembly, and modifications of machinery. They must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
A strong candidate should be able to complete the following tasks:
- Required general knowledge in mechanical gears, bearings, pulley, belts, and so on, pneumatics and hydraulics in order to effectively perform various duties to maintain production machines
- Conduct machine set ups, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance service
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage and excessive wear
- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts to inspect, test and repair
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to fulfill tasks
- Clean, lubricate and adjust parts of machinery
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
Base salary, $55K - $70K, overtime is available, and they offer full benefits
