The role of the Paid Media team is to plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising strategies across multiple phases of the customer acquisition journey. This team plays a vital role in integrating paid media efforts with broader marketing strategies, ensuring a cohesive and unified approach to reaching audiences, enhancing visibility, driving engagement, and converting leads. By leveraging intention-based strategies, data-driven insights, and performance metrics, the team supports business growth and competitive market positioning by ensuring that marketing budgets are invested efficiently and effectively.
Job Description:
The Paid Channel Optimization oversees all media managers and ensures all channels are optimized to achieve paid media team KPIs. This role interfaces with ad agency counterparts and works closely with other paid media team members to ensure channels are fully optimized to achieve goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and optimization, with the ability to lead a team and drive performance improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of media channels to ensure efficient and effective campaign delivery.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, making real-time adjustments to improve ROI and campaign effectiveness.
- Implement channel-specific strategies and best practices to maximize the impact of paid media investments.
- Work closely with Paid Media Managers to ensure alignment with broader marketing goals and provide tactical support.
- Continuously test and refine channel tactics to enhance performance and drive better results.
- Provide detailed performance reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
- Manage relationships with media vendors to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve channel optimization efforts.
- Ensure all campaigns comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Utilize advanced marketing technologies and tools to enhance channel performance and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in media planning and channel management, with a track record of driving measurable results.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree, with approval).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated categories.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with media performance tools and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team and drive performance improvements.
- Knowledge of channel optimization techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in various advertising platforms such as The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

Compensation Range:
93,000-189,000 annuallyThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
