Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Plumbing Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the design, development, and implementation of plumbing systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards .
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the design of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sanitary systems for infrastructure projects.
Ensure plumbing designs meet all regulatory requirements, client specifications, and sustainability goals.
Oversee plumbing systems from design to installation, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Prepare and review plumbing system calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the plumbing systems are installed according to design and industry standards.
Ensure plumbing systems comply with local, state, and national codes, as well as safety and environmental standards.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training.
Review and approve designs and work completed by team members, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical plumbing issues, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare and present reports, technical documents, and project proposals to clients and management.
Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
Develop innovative solutions to complex plumbing challenges.
What Required Skill's You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plumbing engineering, with experience in large-scale infrastructure or Utilities projects
Proficiency in plumbing design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
