Information Specialist - Financial Aid Operations - Military Veterans

Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Information Specialist - Financial Aid Operations for University Enrollment Services. This position will report directly to the Associate University Director of Operations.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Manages and analyzes data, communicating processing issues to the Associate Director.
- Assists in coordinating processing systems and streamlining processing of financial aid documents.
- Monitors all incoming and outgoing federal applicant records and related reports for data integrity.
- Corrects any data and expedites the processing of the data.
- Assists with reconciliation of PELL, TAG, EOF and Direct Loan programs.
- Researches and resolves escalations from campus financial aid offices.
- Provides technical and administrative support to assist in the promotion of special projects as assigned by UES management.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) of years working experience in a related processing environment at a major institution of Higher Education.
