Location: Atchison, KS 66002
Duration: Temporary (ASAP – 6/29/2025)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Dress Code: Business casual. Nice jeans and clean tennis shoes are acceptable.

Job Overview:
AppleOne is assisting a client in hiring a motivated and customer-focused Temporary Customer Service & Mailroom Assistant to join our team! This role involves assisting students at the counter with packages, learning print production, answering phones, and ensuring customer needs are met. You will also be responsible for delivering mail and packages to faculty members daily.

This position requires a customer-oriented mindset, strong computer skills, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is honest, hardworking, and communicates professionally with good grammar.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist students with package pickup at the mailroom counter.
Learn and support print and production jobs.
Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries.
Deliver mail and packages to faculty across campus.
Perform duties that involve standing, sitting, and walking as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Prior customer-facing experience (retail or restaurant background preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
A team player with strong work ethics.
Comfortable spending most of the workday on their feet and walking around campus.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow supervision.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred.
Copy job experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license may be required per company policy.

Skills & Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficiency in basic PC functions.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic math and filing skills.
Ability to operate office machines and technical equipment.
