Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialty to play a key role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of their HR ServiceNow platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, streamline processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions to their HR organization.

This position will be on-site on the South side of Atlanta, GA. It is currently a 6 month contract position paying up to $33/hr with the potential to be extended.

Experience that will help you stand out from other candidates:

• Strong ability to create and maintain detailed test scripts.
• Demonstrated ability to apply QA concepts across multiple lines of business.
• Proficiency using QA software systems, preferably qTest.

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Become a QA Champion: Support the HR ServiceNow team by leading quality assurance, testing, and documentation efforts for projects, upgrades, patches, and new features.
• Develop and Implement Robust Test Strategies: Collaborate with the manager to create and maintain comprehensive test scripts, establishing a repeatable and sustainable QA protocol.
• Lead Effective Testing Sessions: Schedule and lead testing sessions with HR ServiceNow team members, ensuring thorough coverage of projects, upgrades, and patches.
• Drive Defect Resolution: Analyze defects, work closely with developers and specialists to identify root causes, and track defects to resolution.
• Measure and Improve: Develop processes to capture and report on key QA metrics, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
• Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Ensure technical documentation is reviewed and updated to support the QA process.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work seamlessly with HRSD team members, ITSM ServiceNow, and other IT and business areas to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Adhere to company policies and procedures, applying best practice standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support Critical System Upgrades: Be available to work at least 4 hours on one Saturday per quarter for system upgrades and patches.
• Embrace Flexibility and Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
• Prioritize Safety: Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational projects and procedures.

Required background and experience include:

• Proven experience in quality assurance and application testing protocols, including writing test scripts/user stories, leading test sessions, defect tracking and management, and creating associated metrics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
