Territory Sales Manager - Military Veterans

This company is a global leader in products that help their customers keep our environment healthy. By creating cleaner operating conditions (air), the company provides a needed resource for all industrial businesses. You aren't selling a product; you are selling the bigger picture of keeping people healthy and safe. In these times, companies want to ensure they are doing everything they can to accomplish that.

You will be based in one of the open sales territories in a regional area. It would be best if you were comfortable traveling in and around those areas as needed (by air or car when close enough). Ideally, someone would be located in the central part of this region. However, that is not as important as the right fit and skillset.

You will travel to customers, engaging the decision-makers on how your products separate themselves from their competitors. Depending on the customer and need, you will travel 30-40% of the time. Your travel schedule will be trips that will last a few days but could be longer if you are representing the company at trade shows, and so on. Your customers will be sizeable industrial operating companies in power generation, oil and gas, refineries, and so on. The idea of a complex industrial system should be exciting, and you should learn and become knowledgeable about it.

The company wants sales "hunters;? people who are naturally curious desire to self-educate and self-improve. You should be someone who has natural energy and drive. However, your client base is very data-driven. Thus, you should be an intelligent, candid person who can still create connections with people. You should have a? high-revving motor," being someone who constantly wants to be successful. You should have off-the-charts communication skills and the ability to develop and execute a sales plan/presentation.

The company has a history of hiring military leaders and seeing multiple-year growth and development as people enjoy the role and the ability to influence and make a difference in people's lives. Many people in the company have had decades-long careers, making great money with a solid work/life balance.

Base salary, $90K -$110K, with commissions. Company car allowance with all expenses paid provided, computer, cell phone, and a 401k.

The harder you work, the more money you make, the company is prepared to invest in training you as a sales professional weekly, individually Sandler sales training, and bi-weekly as a group.
