As a Sr Contracts Representative here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for supporting the contract lifecycle for our business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including sourcing/procurement, legal, and finance teams, to ensure the successful execution of contracts as well as compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in contract management and negotiation will be instrumental in driving successful business outcomes and mitigating legal risks.
You will report directly to our St Contracts Manager, and you'll work out of our Sky Harbor, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including negotiation, drafting, and review. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide strategic advice. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for contract management support throughout contract life cycle - provides contractual and administrative support (analysis, review, drafting, negotiation flow-down, interpretation of a contract and all related documents, and dispute resolution);
- Identifies and mitigates risks connected with non-standard terms and conditions and proposed changes in contractual documents;
- Advises internal clients, including Honeywells Integrated Supply Chain, concerning contractual requirements;
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships, primarily with your assigned customers, as well as stakeholders within Honeywells organization, providing top-class service and high customer satisfaction;
- Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures applicable to contracting and contract management; that includes liaising with the Legal department and other stakeholders within Honeywell for review and approval of unusual terms;
- Focuses on continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance;
- Supports Honeywell Procurement Contracts and Honeywell business Integrated Supply Chain initiatives as required.

YOU MUST HAVE
4+ years of experience managing/negotiating contracts
Strong knowledge of contract law
Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Government or commercial contracting or procurement experience including intellectual property, export control, and uniform commercial code requirements preferred
- Working knowledge of procurement contract administration including legal, procurement, accounting requirements, international contracting laws, and negotiations desirable
- Negotiation experience strongly preferred.
