Leading Industrial Company is in search of a Field Service Technician within the Princeton WV area. This is a great opportunity to join a leader in design & repair of electrical motors. We are seeking candidates that have 1-5 years of experience in motor removals and installs, cryogenic cleaning, on-site machining, vibration analysis, balancing, laser alignment, electrical testing, infrared thermography and switchgear testing. Candidates must have or be able to obtain Mine Safety Certification (below and above ground) and OSHA Certification.
This is an hourly + OT position where compensation is dependent upon experience. This is an on call position with 50-60% travel (including overnights) within the South Eastern region. responsibilities:
- Motor removals and installs, cryogenic cleaning, on-site machining, vibration analysis, balancing, laser alignment, electrical testing, infrared thermography and switchgear testing.
- Technicians are on call 24 hours a day to offer customer availability for emergency work.
- Technicians travel frequently to customer sites.
- Customer certifications must be obtained when necessary to be permitted on-site.
- Some required certifications are Mine Safety Certification (below and above ground) and OSHA Certification.
- Technicians are responsible for customer interface and responsible for managing all customer orders and relationships.
- Additionally, technicians support other shop efforts such as warranty work.
