Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Supervisor performs MRI examinations with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist, operates diagnostic MRI equipment and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling, transporting patients, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team. 
• Responsibility for the Protection of patients and staff from the magnetic field, including but not limited to all safety measures. 
• Responsibility for selecting proper technical factors, producing diagnostic quality radiographs, safe and competent operation of radiographic equipment, maintain compliance on all accredited and regulatory requirements. 
• Training of all Technologists to comply with proper techniques and quality of images is also the responsibility of the Supervisor. 
• Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), MRI experience with Lead and/or Supervisory experience required.
