Position Specific Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Systems Analyst to provide comprehensive services and support for our Corporate Business Units (CBUs) line of business applications including both front and backend. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling the effective maintenance and support of applications critical to business operations.

Position Specific Description: This person will be responsible for evaluating and resolving service tickets within SLA agreements. The role will interface with business users, requiring excellent communication, relationship management, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between CBUs and IT, facilitating communication and support.
Support key applications working with vendors and the business.
Understand and analyze applications and environment logs.
Analyze business processes and identify technology opportunities to reduce operational and licensing cost.
Design and implement IT solutions to meet customer needs and business goals.
Apply advanced analytical skills to decompose work into manageable value-based units.
Respond to requests, identify conflicts, and make recommendations.
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems.
Build a strong understanding of technical solutions and analyze failure points.
Contribute to the application QA testing process and support end users.
Create, and maintain project and support documentation.
Demonstrate ownership of all assigned tasks, including project related work.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Candidates applying for this position should demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
Strong understanding of business processes and practices related to various corporate staff business units.
Strong ability to gather, evaluate, decompose, and prioritize business needs (creation of BRDs).
Strong attention to detail, highly self-motivated, proactive, and directed.
Strong customer focus - able to build and foster customer relations through effective communication.
Data analytics and dashboarding skills. I.E. Power BI, MS Power Apps and Business Objects.
Strong test lead skills (test management, planning, execution, oversight).
Experience with cutover planning and change management systems.
General computer control (GCC) management experience.
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (SOX) controls experience.
Agile working experience.
ServiceNow and Jira ticketing systems.
Expert level proficiency in Windows OS and Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Experience supporting Windows infrastructure, Windows Server & client OS, AD, Oracle, MS SQL and understanding computer architecture aspects (databases, ETLs, applications, network infrastructure, firewalls, etc.).

  • Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework
  • Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
