About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Sr. Lead Growth Strategist with Branch Strategy & Market Growth as part of Consumer, Small & Business Banking. This individual will be response for assessing market level opportunities, crafting strategies to capture these opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement growth initiatives and play a key role in driving Well's Fargo's market expansion, transformation, and revenue growth.

In this role, you will:
- Market analysis and research: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs across various geographies and market segments
- Growth strategy development: Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop transformation and market expansion strategies, including new product or service offerings, and partnerships.
- Data-driven decision making: Leverage data and analytics to measure market potential, assess the impact of strategic initiatives, and adjust plans based on performance metrics and insights.
- Customer segmentation: Define and refine target customer segments to maximize engagement and growth, ensuring WF's offerings are tailored to meet the unique needs of each group
- Oversight and execution: Work closely across CSBB to implement and monitor growth tactics, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Competitive intelligence: Keep a close eye on industry trends, competitor moves, and disruptive technologies that may affect WF's trajectory and offer insights on how to stay ahead
- Reporting and communications: Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of growth initiatives, market opportunities, and key performance indicators
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in market strategy, business development, or related roles within the financial services industry
- Deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insights to drive strategic decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and ideas to diverse audiences
- Experience in project management, strategic planning, and execution of cross-functional initiatives
- A collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working effectively across teams and functions
- Strong understanding of banking products and services, customer behavior, and market dynamics
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Job Expectations:
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

Pay Range:
- New York City, New York: $120,400 - $ 287,600 annual base salary
Actual salary is determined by location, experience and qualifications of the job.
