The Role:

Our site in Burnet is seeking a Chemical Operator II to join our team.

In this role, you would be responsible for starting, monitoring , and troubleshooting purification systems. These systems require troubleshooting often. You will also be working inside of Glove Boxes with proper PPE. The Glove Boxes also need troubleshooting on a consistent basis. In addition, you will run stations that dry/morph/pressure reduction on our units; d o all paperwork/SAP with minimal errors; participate in Cycle Counts, Safety Toolbox Reviews and JSA's . You w ill also engage in monthly safety meetings, CIP, and observations/inspections, 5S and more.

Shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 on day shift once fully trained and certified.

What You'll Do :

• Run purifications systems under specific quality and engineering controls;
  

• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment;
  

• Sample, fill, and inspect final products.
  

• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis;
  

• Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product ;
  

• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;
  

• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;
  

• Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship;
  

• Propose and implement process improvements;

Outstanding Candidates Will Have :

• 2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive);
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical fiel d a plus ;
  

• Previous chemical handling experience;
  

• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus;
  

• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;
  

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;
  

• Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;
  

• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks.
