Position Information:
The Associate Director of Campus Support Services for Information Technology Services (ITS) at UCR is a critical role responsible for overseeing and optimizing various IT and security-related support services within the organization. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of secured / managed device services, asset (hardware and software management), and help desk operations. This key position will be responsible for the management of the following areas: BearHelp, (UCR's helpdesk and endpoint support team), Student Technology Services (STS), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Secured Device Services (SDS), which is UCR's managed device services team. This position is additionally responsible for working with all the departments across ITS to strategically support new service implementations. This position works closed with the Director of Campus Support services to ensure that service deliverables are met in each of these areas, that the units the position is responsible for are coordinating efforts effectively, and that the department is working in accordance with the ITS Strategy & Mission, as well as in line with University of California Office of the President mandates and directions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. A strong understanding of higher education IT environments is highly desirable. The ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams is essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a track record of mentoring and helping to develop junior staff members.

The full salary range for the Associate Director of Campus Support Services is $81,500 - $150,100 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is up to $117,000 annually. UCR bases salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
